For many of us, our health is a constant source of worry and concern. Don’t be afraid to ask for help
So many people have a dependency complex when it comes to their health – meaning that they are unlikely to ask other people for aid, due to worrying that they are ‘bothering’ them. If this sounds anything like you, take a step back for a moment and consider how you would behave if the shoe were on the other foot. If a friend opened up to you about a health problem they were suffering with, would you just turn them away, or would you offer to help as best you could? Of course, most people would go for the latter with no questions asked. As long as you are not asking too much of someone – such as requesting large sums of money without fully being able to say when you can pay it back by – most of your friends and family will be happy to help you out. Even little things, like offering to take you to the store if you are on medication that means you can’t drive, can make the world of difference to your day and your ability to carry on life as normal.
Make money the least of your worries
Money stress is something that can plague all of us at some point in our lives. But when you are ill, this stress can be ten times worse. Even if you are insured up to your eyes, you may still need to fork out for various medical bills, and regular prescriptions can also come with a hefty price tag attached. Be kind to yourself

Make sure you get plenty of rest and try and eat a healthy balanced diet too. There is a lot that can be said for putting yourself first, and if you’re unwell, it could be the thing that gets you back on your feet.
