Tom Cotton Slammed for Facing the Nation

By |March 16th, 2015|Arkansas, National, Politics, Republicans, World|Comments Off on Tom Cotton Slammed for Facing the Nation

This is a prime example of why walking into the den of liberal media is just a bad idea… You will never change their minds, especially those of their viewing audience.  Cotton is being slammed by the left for his comment that “Iran controls Tehran,” which of course is INSIDE Iran. If you take such a statement on it’s own then Tom Cotton sounds like an idiot… but what most will never know is that the statement is taken out of context.

You can view/listen at 5:25 in the video to the exact comment, but more importantly, everyone should listen to full piece with Cotton as he does a great job of explaining… unfortunately it doesn’t matter how much he explains to any audience who would be watching such a far leftist propaganda machine.  Cotton is being called a “traitor” among other things (some in much more harsh language).

Here’s a tip Senator: Do what you do… don’t apologize… and don’t give the left the time of day…

We Cannot Trust Iran

By |March 11th, 2015|National, Nuclear, World|Comments Off on We Cannot Trust Iran

From Senator Lindsey Graham:

If Iran is allowed to get a nuclear weapon, it would change the landscape of our world forever.

Unlike President Obama, I will not mince words. We are in a war against radical Islam – people who are intent on killing anyone who doesn’t bend to their will, including moderate Muslims, Christians, Jews, or people of other faiths or no faith.

In additional to ISIS, Iran is also an enemy of the United States of America. As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said last week referring to Iran, “The enemy of my enemy is my enemy.” We cannot trust Iran for one minute when they claim they simply want a peaceful nuclear power program.

In fact, the longer the world waits to stop Iran, the closer they get to developing a nuclear bomb. I will never stop fighting to protect the safety of America, and that begins by eliminating Iran’s access to a nuclear weapon.

I have formed a presidential “testing the waters” committee called Security Through Strength. I believe America can have security through strength, and I will continue to lead in that critical fight.

If you agree with me that our nation is in grave danger if Iran secures a nuclear bomb, then I hope you will stand with me today by making an immediate financial contribution.

Our nation is facing terrorism abroad and at home like never before. We must eradicate terrorism now before it grows to the point where we cannot overturn it. And that begins by ensuring nuclear weapons do not end up in Iran.

If you stand with me, I hope you will show your support by making a secure online contribution of $25, $50, or more right now.

Thank you for your […]

Cotton Gins up Outrage on Iran

By |March 11th, 2015|National, World|Comments Off on Cotton Gins up Outrage on Iran

From Family Research Council:

President Obama would like nothing better than to shake himself of that pesky institution known as the U.S. Congress. And for six years, he’s done an admirable job — shirking their authority on everything from health care to immigration. But when a matter of national security — or, in this case, national survival — hangs in the balance, conservatives refuse to sit on their hands and watch the White House negotiate away America’s future with Iran.

To the Left’s outrage, Senator Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), a member of the Armed Services Committee and veteran, is demanding some accountability from the President in his talks with one of the world’s largest state sponsors of terrorism. In a letter with 46 other GOP senators, Sen. Cotton fired off a rare letter to Iranian leaders explaining that the Senate will have to approve any deal the President strikes with their country.

The international community and congressional Democrats let out a collective gasp at the idea, suggesting that these senators were out of line for elbowing their way into the conversation. But, as Sen. Cotton is quite comfortable explaining, “the critical role of Congress in the adoption of international agreements was clearly laid out by our Founding Fathers in our Constitution.” And while Iranian leaders may not understand that, the President should.

To his critics, Cotton had this to say: “I do not take my obligations as a senator lightly. Nor do those who are signatories to the letter. If the President won’t share our role in the process with his negotiating partner, we won’t hesitate to do it ourselves.” Under the current deal, President Obama seems prepared to make the concessions Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned again — including letting Iran […]

Rick Santorum’s Stand with Israel Petition

By |March 9th, 2015|World|Comments Off on Rick Santorum’s Stand with Israel Petition

Stand with Israel

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to Congress last week offered a compelling and stark reminder of the threat Israel and America face.  He said, “The greatest danger facing our world is the marriage of militant Islam and nuclear weapons.”

No nation is more at risk from an Iranian nuclear weapons program than Israel, and it is critical that the United States stand side-by-side with the Prime Minister and our Israeli allies at this juncture.

President Obama has refused to recognize who our enemies are, and in the case of Iran it is the radical mullahs who are intent on destroying America.  He continues to pacify them with pointless diplomatic negotiations that only buy the mullahs time to develop a nuclear program.

We must stand with Israel to preserve our democratic ally and partner in the struggle against terrorist organizations and Radical Islam in the Middle East.  The alternative is less security and greater danger- not just for the Middle East- but for America as well.  We must maintain our commitment to democracy at home and abroad.

Sign our petition to tell President Obama to stand strong with Israel.
