What’s The Populism Behind Brexit?

By |November 2nd, 2017|World, XPC|Comments Off on What’s The Populism Behind Brexit?

The world is going mad. It’s the bold statement made by Bruce A. Ritter, a journalist at the Real Truth, when describing the surge of violent outbursts throughout the world. From trying to get even with a relative after an unresolved argument with poison to burning down a spouse’s boat, the age of rage seems to see people take disproportionate actions to correct a wrong they felt. While some of them might regret their choice of behaviors afterward, there’s no denying that there’s more underneath the emotional wild card. At a personal level, people are looking for a quick revenge path for a situation that they believe has been caused by a specific and identifiable individual. Unable to cope with the pressures of their life, they flip out and commit the unthinkable. What is becoming more worrying, though, is when pressures caused by a variety of external factors lead people to victimize the weak and take it out on those who, they believe, don’t belong to their community. The surge of community feelings, often combined with the systematic victimization of social or ethnic groups, is referred to as populism.

The populism behind Brexit

The culture of me first

As a result of the Brexit referendum in 2016, the UK has registered an unthinkable record of hate crimes targeted at EU citizens living in England and Wales, the two countries where the Brexit vote received the majority. In fact, more than 14,000 crimes were recorded in the space of three months after the referendum. Over the past year, the hate crimes have been 41% higher than during the previous period. Needless to say, the attacks were performed by British citizens, anxious to claim their belonging to the UK and […]

Editorial: Keep President Jimmy Carter Away from North Korean Negotiations

By |October 12th, 2017|Editorial, Nuclear, Politics, Presidential, World|Comments Off on Editorial: Keep President Jimmy Carter Away from North Korean Negotiations

PNN – Former President Jimmy Carter has offered to serve as a negotiator with North Korea on the United States’ behalf, with his goal being a peace treaty between the United States and North Korea. While President Carter has been to North Korea for negotiations before, sending him there now would be an unquestionably bad move, despite what some legacy media sources would have you believe about his past “successes” in the region.

President Carter’s first trip to North Korea took place in 1994, during the Clinton Administration. The negotiations concerned North Korea’s nuclear program. As an eventual result of these negotiations, the United States helped North Korea to obtain light-water reactors, which the Clinton Administration claimed could not be used to make nuclear bombs. This was objectively false and the Clinton Administration demonstrably knew this, because hardly a year later they were condemning Russia for attempting to supply light-water reactors to Iran because they feared Iran would use them to make nuclear weapons.

In short, former Presidents Carter and Clinton both played a significant role in helping North Korea obtain the resources that eventually became the hydrogen bombs that they seem to have and are using to threaten ourselves and our allies with today. As of Thursday, October 12th, it seems as though they have tested yet another hydrogen bomb, which makes for their second hydrogen bomb test this year. One cannot be sure, but perhaps without our government’s assistance in the 90s, North Korea would not have the same level of nuclear sophistication that they have now.

President Jimmy Carter wishes for a peace treaty with North Korea, and that is admirable. True peace would be wonderful and few people genuinely want to see a war. […]

Business Community Urged To Set Up Rehab Centers For ‘Most Heroin Addicted Country In The World’

In the last few decades, there has been a dramatic increase in drug addiction in Pakistan. With almost seven million drug users, more than four million of these being addicts, this is amongst the highest number for any country in the world.

Most of the country’s illegal drugs come from neighboring Afghanistan, which is known for its opium production. In fact, Afghanistan’s poppy production goes into ninety percent of the heroin across the globe. On top of this, a lot of heroin is produced in Pakistan itself- almost three times more than what is produced in America. In fact, it is estimated that forty-four tons of heroin is smoked or injected in Pakistan each year. While cannabis is the most used drug in Pakistan, the injection drug use has soared which can not only lead to sudden death, drug-related death and accidents but also sparks fears of an HIV epidemic. In fact, in 2011 it was found that almost forty percent of Pakistan’s injection drug users were infected with the virus. And with a survey of regular injecting opiate users in Pakistan finding that seventy-three percent of respondents reported sharing a syringe, it’s little wonder. Another problem with addiction comes prostitution, crime, and violence. Cities like Peshawar, once popular with tourists for its outdoor markets and lively atmosphere have now degraded to become a violence-ridden wasteland. Once bustling with tourists and travelers, the city and many like it are now rife with derelicts- those looking for their next hit of drugs.

While the increase in the drugs problem in Pakistan has been nothing short of alarming, up until recently there has been very little response from the government to try and resolve the problem. Little is […]

Mattis Targeted in Failed Taliban Attack on Afghanistan Airport

By |September 27th, 2017|National, World|Comments Off on Mattis Targeted in Failed Taliban Attack on Afghanistan Airport

PNN – Secretary of Defense James Mattis was the target of an attack on Kabul’s Hamid Karzai International Airport on Wednesday. The attackers primarily used rocket-propelled grenades to assault the airport, firing a total of 29, with an additional 11 munitions being used that have yet to be identified. The fire was concentrated onto a guard tower and the southern side of the airport. Following the attack, the Taliban took credit via Twitter on the account of their spokesperson, Zabiullah Mujahid. They further specified that Secretary Mattis was their intended target. Mattis had already left the airport before the attack began. There have been no reported casualties so far and the full extent of the damage to Hamid Karzai International is currently unknown. Five people have been reported as injured, with one said to be in poor condition.

The Afghan special forces searched homes near the airport that were suspected to be the source of the volley. Three suspects were found and killed in a subsequent firefight. The men were armed with AK-47s and RPGs. A fourth suspect was wounded.

Secretary Mattis visited Afghanistan unannounced following a short stay in India. It seems as though he learned of the attack from the press after the fact. During a press conference with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, Mattis condemned the attack as terrorism, and said that the Taliban “will find the Afghan Security Forces continuing on the offensive against them in every district of the country right now.”

This marks Mattis’ first visit to Afghanistan following President Donald Trump’s August announcement of his new strategy in the region, which included an influx of up to several thousand new troops, though the Trump administration has declined to offer any exact figures. […]

Brexit & Your Job – What Do You Need To Know?

By |August 19th, 2017|Business, World, XPC|Comments Off on Brexit & Your Job – What Do You Need To Know?

Workers both in and out of Brexit are worried about the future turbulence they are likely to experience as a result of the huge decision taken in June last year for Britain to leave the EU. It is happening, and the nuances of the deal are being worked on right now. For normal people who don’t have access to this insider knowledge, especially those hoping to work from and in the UK, times look unpredictable.

As a disclaimer, we’d like to make sure this post is crystal clear about the fact that what will actually happen is anyone’s guess at this point, and likely to shift several times before the whole affair is what you can call ‘over.’ As such, this article will not go into the nitty gritty of the dealings, details of which are unlikely to emerge for some time, but it will point you in the right directions and attitudes to keep when trying to figure out how to proceed effectively.

Consult Legal Help

Employment law advice is something you will no doubt need in the future, especially if you are an EU national working in the UK. It’s important that you are legally as secure as you can be, and you know where to turn should something befall you, such as needing to terminate your position. You may be entitled to compensation or some form of remedial offering, but you will only know this if you are in communication with a sharply witted team of lawyers whose job it is to know and advise you on the proper issues.

Man Sentenced to Death for Facebook Posts about Muhammad

By |June 12th, 2017|Religion, World|Comments Off on Man Sentenced to Death for Facebook Posts about Muhammad

So-called “peaceful” Muslims have sentenced a man to death over Facebook posts found to be derogatory in regards to their prophet Muhammad.
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – Taimoor Raza, a 30 year old male, was found guilty of blasphemy in a Pakistani court in the central city of Bahawalpur under Judge Shabbir Ahmed. All-in-all, he made more than 3,000 posts on Facebook and WhatsApp that were offensive verbally and visually against the prophet Muhammad and his wives.

Raza was one of 15 people arrested last year (10 Muslims /5 non-Muslims) for this type of crime (blasphemy). Raza not only posted the offensive material on social media, he was actively sharing publicly with onlookers at a bus terminal which spurred the complaint which got him arrested 14 months ago. Raza isn’t likely a wealthy man, as he only had 20,000 Rials on him when arrested, which is the equivalent of about 60 U.S. cents.

Most of the mainstream media (MSM) is attempting the make the point that the country has never previously executed anyone convicted of blasphemy.  What the MSM is largely failing to report is the reason why; typically, in these situations, Muslims form violent mobs which publicly execute people like this using street justice (lynching) so they don’t normally even make it into a courtroom. Frequently, it only takes a simple accusation to trigger a death mob with no real proof generally required.

In 2011, a police guard accused a provincial governor of blasphemy just before he pulled out his gun and shot him to death. Ironically, the governor had simply made some defensive remarks about a Christian female who had been sentenced to death under the blasphemy law, stating that perhaps the laws were too harsh.

By |May 3rd, 2017|Travel, World, XPC|Comments Off on What’s Behind Malaysia’s Soaring Immigration?

Malaysia is a nation with plenty of history, culture, and exotic charm that lures in thousands of foreigners each year. In fact, many people decide to make the country their new home and enjoy their lives in a place that offers almost year-round sunshine! It’s also no secret that the people of Malaysia are some of the friendliest you will ever encounter on your travels.

The country is full of natural treasures waiting to be explored and provides the perfect base for those seeking employment opportunities in Asia. In recent years, Malaysia has experienced unprecedented immigration. But, what are the reasons behind the country’s explosive growth in migration?

It’s the gateway to Asia

Malaysia is geographically well-placed to other important Asian nations such as Singapore, India, and China. It’s also quite close to Australia and New Zealand as well. Because of its location, you are afforded a wealth of travel and job opportunities in the region.

Many people that migrate to Malaysia enjoy visiting the neighboring countries for their vacations. Having said that, the country has a plethora of unique and exotic landmarks and places of interest to visit!

One of the advantages of being a permanent resident of Malaysia is that you can gain access to a wealth of healthcare options without paying much money (if any, in some cases). Trump Netanyahu Press Conference

By |February 15th, 2017|First 100 Days, World|Comments Off on Trump Netanyahu Press Conference

Remarks by President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel in Joint Press Conference
Transcript from today’s press conference.

East Room
12:15 P.M. EST

PRESIDENT TRUMP:  Thank you very much.  Thank you.  Today I have the honor of welcoming my friend, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to the White House.  With this visit, the United States again reaffirms our unbreakable bond with our cherished ally, Israel.  The partnership between our two countries built on our shared values has advanced the cause of human freedom, dignity and peace.  These are the building blocks of democracy.

The state of Israel is a symbol to the world of resilience in the face of oppression — I can think of no other state that’s gone through what they’ve gone — and of survival in the face of genocide.  We will never forget what the Jewish people have endured.

Your perseverance in the face of hostility, your open democracy in the face of violence, and your success in the face of tall odds is truly inspirational.  The security challenges faced by Israel are enormous, including the threat of Iran’s nuclear ambitions, which I’ve talked a lot about.  One of the worst deals I’ve ever seen is the Iran deal.  My administration has already imposed new sanctions on Iran, and I will do more to prevent Iran from ever developing — I mean ever — a nuclear weapon.

Our security assistance to Israel is currently at an all-time high, ensuring that Israel has the ability to defend itself from threats of which there are unfortunately many.  Both of our countries will continue and grow.  We have a long history of cooperation in the fight against terrorism and the fight against those […]

China Mulls The Unthinkable: Price Hikes – But Is The Threat Serious?

By |January 4th, 2017|Financial, World, XPC|Comments Off on China Mulls The Unthinkable: Price Hikes – But Is The Threat Serious?

What’s going on in China? Firstly the growth rate plummets from its multi-decadal average of more than 8 percent, and then its factories say that they’ve had enough of low prices and want to start pushing prices back up again.

According to Bloomberg, China is on the cusp of delivering a shock to the world’s financial market. For years it’s been undercutting its rivals by offering unparalleled low costs and cheap labor. But now, according to analysts, things are starting to change quite dramatically. Whereas once there was a seemingly relentless supply of cheap labor coming from Chinese rural migrants moving to the cities, this supply is finally drying up. Companies are actually having to compete on wages to attract Chinese migrants to fill the positions that they have to offer, thanks to increasing scarcity in the labor market.

The ramifications for the global economy could be enormous. For the past two decades, China has meant that Western countries can consume just about as many cheap products they like, without having to pay inflated prices. But with this hike in wage rates, prices for Western consumers are going to go up.

Many media outlets are suggesting that this could be dangerous news for countries that rely heavily on Chinese imports, like Japan and the US. But should we take the threat seriously?

It seems likely that prices will go up slightly in the short term, but over the long haul, manufacturing prices are still coming down, dramatically.

Robots Replacing People

One of the things that we see already is the mass replacing of human factory workers with robotic surrogates. This isn’t the future: it’s already happening on a massive scale. Foxconn announced back in May that it […]

911 Muslim Shirts (Remember)

By |August 31st, 2016|World|Comments Off on 911 Muslim Shirts (Remember)

This was emailed to us so we have no idea who to attribute this to.  We also have no way of verifying just how widespread these shirts may be.

So why post this? Because the picture itself is worth a thousand words and there is no way there’s only one of these in existance and the fact there would be a market for such a shirt should cause people to cause as we allow them by the hundreds and by the thousands, invade our country as “refugees.”

Take a good look at the shirt: not the Muslim who’s wearing it, but the shirt!
