Back to Running

By |September 16th, 2017|Running, Sports|Comments Off on Back to Running

I haven’t run in three years and I’ve been missing it terribly for quite some time and was searching for some motivation to get back to it. Then, I drove right by the place where I first got into running, and thought, “I should go back there.”

It’s been 20 years since a guy I worked with (who was in the Marines) asked me to go run with him, as he felt he needed to train a bit for an upcoming exercise.

I said, “Sure, but I haven’t run since I was in the military, so I’m not certain how I’ll hold up…”

Across the street from his home, was a sidewalk, and if you followed it all the way around the property it encompassed, it was basically a one-mile loop. We ran a couple of laps, after work, several times a week.

My shins would hurt each night after running. I was naïve and thought that was just normal pain anyone must get when doing this. When I mentioned it to a friend who ran all the time, he asked me about what I was wearing (pointing at my shoes). When I told him, I was running in the same cheap tennis shoes that I was wearing all day to work in, he basically laughed at me before instructing me to go buy some “real” running shoes.

The next night after two laps (wearing a pricey pair of new Adidas), the Marine stopped, and I said, “I think I’ll run just one more lap…” but it was like I couldn’t stop myself and ran five more laps for a total of seven miles.

Someone suggested that I keep training and run a half marathon, so I did… training on that […]

Leftist Panic as Ice Cube Breaks off Antarctica

By |July 12th, 2017|FakeNews|Comments Off on Leftist Panic as Ice Cube Breaks off Antarctica

One of the most trending news stories over the past couple of days has been about a chunk of ice which broke off Antarctica and is the size of the state of Delaware. Well that certainly sounds like a rather large piece of ice and it’s meant to sound large in order to push the underlying narrative that it’s mankind’s fault that some ice cracked. Because, we all know that ice never cracked off into icebergs prior to the industrial age, right (sarcasm)?

Here’s the real rub; mainstream media is taking complete advantage of the fact that practically all who take them seriously also happen to be completely oblivious as to how massive Antarctica actually is.  Most probably can’t even comprehend the fact that the United States is 3.81 million square miles. The United States seems huge when you think of it in regards to square miles doesn’t it? But, the United States seems rather small when compared to the entirety of Earth’s square miles at 196.9 million.  This means that the United States is only 2% of the Earth’s surface which then makes it seem a bit small when put into perspective, doesn’t it?

Frequently, things appear quite different depending on which perspective they are being viewed from. Knowing this, you can also constantly feed someone a particular perspective in order to get them to see what you want them to see.  The mainstream media knows this and they are in lock-step when it comes to comparing the ice that broke off Antarctica to something quite large in your mind without any actual context, such as the fact that Antarctica is 5.41 million square miles and the piece of ice which broke off constitutes 0.0004613% (less […]

CNN Producer Admits Fake News and Trump Russia Conspiracy is Hoax

By |June 27th, 2017|FakeNews|Comments Off on CNN Producer Admits Fake News and Trump Russia Conspiracy is Hoax

If CNN had any credibility left at all – they lost it today as a CNN Producer Admits Fake News.
CNN Producer John Bonifield speaks openly about the network’s sham for ratings as he is recorded on a hidden camera by Project Veritas.

CNN’s Producer admits the Russia story has no shred of evidence and if there were actually anything to it at all, then we would all know by now (that it would have leaked by now).

Bonifield also admits that if they had scrutinized Obama the way they do President Donald Trump, that they would have likely lost their viewers.

For most of those who pay attention, I doubt it will be at all shocking that CNN has been proven beyond a doubt to be peddling fake news. For those who continue to watch CNN – well, those are precisely the same people to whom facts mean very little and they will (no doubt) continue to ignore the evidence that CNN is about as real as professional wrestling.

There is nothing wrong with watching any sort of television for entertainment value, but there are people who tend to believe all that they see. For some of us, CNN, MSNBC, NY Times, etc, have all become such parodies of themselves that we find their follies-of-late quite entertaining in themselves.

Enjoy, as you watch the disaster that the liberal CNN is becoming:

Remarkably, Shepard Smith of Fox News seemed to forget who he works for today as he actually defended and held up CNN as an example of good journalism and good journalistic practices. Shepard Smith seems to be either working at the wrong network or hellbent in tranforming Fox News into a fake news outlet to rival CNN.

Can’t get enough of […]

Repeal Obamacare: Let’s Trust Rand Paul

By |June 25th, 2017|Editorial, Health, National|Comments Off on Repeal Obamacare: Let’s Trust Rand Paul

The only way to fix healthcare is to get government out of it! Let’s trust Rand Paul to lead the way to repeal Obamacare.

I simply don’t trust politicians as a normal starting point to repeal Obamacare or any other issue, but willing to let them earn my trust. When it comes to healthcare, it is extremely difficult to trust them to do the right thing and that difficulty is compounded by the complex structure of Obamacare as it was built in a way to prevent it from being dismantled. In order to dismantle, it will have to be done through more than one piece of legislation. I really don’t want to get into the weeds on that, but we either pass this first piece and win a round geared toward dismantling with half the votes in the budgetary process or we do it all as a full blown repeal (which would be preferable) but will then need two-thirds votes (which we will never get) in order to repeal Obamacare.

So, do we trust them (our politicians) to continue to take the right steps to unravel and dismantle rather than repeal Obamacare? Can we actually trust them to see it through? I simply can’t make that leap. I believe Senator Rand Paul has earned trust on this issue and where some of the holdouts may (or may not) be posturing, I believe he is very sincere in his efforts to do the right thing.

There also seems to be a rush to pass this because Obamacare is rapidly failing. Whenever anyone feels “rushed” to make a major purchase or major life decision, I always advise they go home and sleep on it. There is nothing wrong with taking […]

Man Sentenced to Death for Facebook Posts about Muhammad

By |June 12th, 2017|Religion, World|Comments Off on Man Sentenced to Death for Facebook Posts about Muhammad

So-called “peaceful” Muslims have sentenced a man to death over Facebook posts found to be derogatory in regards to their prophet Muhammad.
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – Taimoor Raza, a 30 year old male, was found guilty of blasphemy in a Pakistani court in the central city of Bahawalpur under Judge Shabbir Ahmed. All-in-all, he made more than 3,000 posts on Facebook and WhatsApp that were offensive verbally and visually against the prophet Muhammad and his wives.

Raza was one of 15 people arrested last year (10 Muslims /5 non-Muslims) for this type of crime (blasphemy). Raza not only posted the offensive material on social media, he was actively sharing publicly with onlookers at a bus terminal which spurred the complaint which got him arrested 14 months ago. Raza isn’t likely a wealthy man, as he only had 20,000 Rials on him when arrested, which is the equivalent of about 60 U.S. cents.

Most of the mainstream media (MSM) is attempting the make the point that the country has never previously executed anyone convicted of blasphemy.  What the MSM is largely failing to report is the reason why; typically, in these situations, Muslims form violent mobs which publicly execute people like this using street justice (lynching) so they don’t normally even make it into a courtroom. Frequently, it only takes a simple accusation to trigger a death mob with no real proof generally required.

In 2011, a police guard accused a provincial governor of blasphemy just before he pulled out his gun and shot him to death. Ironically, the governor had simply made some defensive remarks about a Christian female who had been sentenced to death under the blasphemy law, stating that perhaps the laws were too harsh.

Earlier in 2017, a […]

Senate Passes Resolution to Stop GHS

By |May 12th, 2017|Health, South Carolina, State|Comments Off on Senate Passes Resolution to Stop GHS

Resolution to Stop GHS Passes Senate with Unanimous Consent
Entire Senate body is in agreement that Greenville Hospital System has violated Act 432 and should cease its activities until the lawsuit against GHS is settled.
Greenville, SC – State Senator Tom Corbin introduced the resolution on Thursday, May 11, which reads as follows:

Whereas, the Greenville Hospital System has recently engaged in an effort to restructure; and

Whereas, this was done in secret behind closed doors without notice or notification; and

Whereas, neither the citizens of Greenville County nor the Greenville County Legislative Delegation were informed of the closed door meeting; and

Whereas, the Greenville Hospital System is attempting to transform from a public not-for-profit organization into a private organization; and

Whereas, the members of the Greenville Legislative Delegation feel that this is in direct violation of Act 432 of 1947, which created the Greenville Hospital System; and

Whereas, if this goes through, the newly created Greenville Hospital System private boards, which will control the hospital system, will have absolutely no oversight by the people of Greenville County from which it was created; and

Whereas, members of the Greenville County Legislative Delegation, as well as some members of the public, have filed suit to stay this action; and

Whereas, this resolution would cause the Greenville Hospital System to cease its action until the lawsuit is settled. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:  That the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, oppose the recent actions of the Greenville Hospital System.

The Gas Fee (Tax) Debt Bomb

By |May 11th, 2017|Politics, South Carolina, State|Comments Off on The Gas Fee (Tax) Debt Bomb

Why swapping one three-letter word for another is a BIG deal.
I can’t recall ever seeing such a groundswell of opposition to anything greater than this new 12 cent gas tax being shoved down our throats in Columbia.  By now, many know that the new tax will fund college tuition and many things other than the roads we’ve so desperately wanted to be repaired, but what about them changing this from a tax to a fee?
WARNING: Continuing to read will likely cause a serious increase in blood pressure.
If it had remained a gas “tax” then those in Columbia would be prohibited from using an incoming tax as leverage for more money, but if it is a “fee” then they are allowed to leverage into more money. In other words; they are already planning to use the billions more they are taking from us to BORROW money and put the people in debt billions on top of those billions!

Governor Henry McMaster was obviously complacent in all this or he would have held his vote for the five days and used his bully pulpit to back down a couple more senators. Instead, he quickly vetoed and returned knowing they barely had the two-thirds majority in the senate to override him.

The Mullikin Bunch

By |March 26th, 2017|Politics, South Carolina, State|1 Comment

A look at political donations by
Congressional Candidate Thomas Mullikin.
WHO: Thomas Mullikin (Lawyer)
WHAT: Congressional Race
WHEN: Ongoing
WHERE: SC District 5

Always follow the money; people tend to spend the money they earn on what’s most important to them. In the case of Thomas Mullikin of Camden, he’s not unlike many politically-minded attornies as he donates to politicians regardless of party affiliation.

Going from left to right, top to bottom; an examination of the political values financed by Thomas Mullikin.

Kay Hagan (Democrat) – former US Senator from North Carolina.
Thomas Mullikin donated on two separate occasions, totaling $1,262.00.

Hagan was a huge supporter of Obamacare. Even as late as the end of 2013 when 160,000 people had received cancellation notices of their insurance policies, Hagan still boasted on her website that if you “liked your plan, you could keep it.” It was her staunch support of Obamacare which led to the end of her political career.

Inez Tenenbaum (Democrat) – former SC Superintendent of Education
Thomas Mullikin donated on six separate occasions totaling $2,100.00when Tenenbaum ran for US Senate.

Tenenbaum was in her second term as State Superintendent of Education when she ran for US Senate. Under Tenenbaum, the SC Department of Education put the state of South Carolina in debt by $1.75 BILLION.

John Spratt (Democrat) – former SC Congressman for the 5th District
Thomas Mullikin donated on four separate occasions totaling $2,850.00. This donor relationship spanned 19 years (1989 to 2008) after Mullikin briefly worked for Spratt.

Spratt served as a Democrat Congressman for 28 years in the same district which Thomas Mullikin is now running for office. He was finally removed from office after supporting Obamacare, then losing his seat to Republican Mick Mulvaney.

Bennie Thompson (Democrat) – current MS Congressman for the 2nd District
Thomas Mullikin […]

Intelligence: Russian Interference with Elections

By |March 22nd, 2017|National, Politics|Comments Off on Intelligence: Russian Interference with Elections

The Top 7 Things You Should Know Regarding US Intelligence Findings
This has been largely ignored by the Main SCREAM Media, but the Director of National Intelligence release a report on January 6, 2017, regarding combined findings of FBI, CIA, and NSA, in regards to Russian interference in United States Elections. You can read the full report here, but here are the top 7 issues which should be reported upon with direct quotes from the report:

1. Russia meddling in our elections is nothing new. They have been doing it dating back to the U.S.S.R.
“Russia, like its Soviet predecessor, has a history of conducting covert influence campaigns focused on US presidential elections that have used intelligence officers and agents and press placements to disparage candidates perceived as hostile to the Kremlin.”

“During the Cold War, the Soviet Union used intelligence officers, influence agents, forgeries, and press placements to disparage candidates perceived as hostile to the Kremlin, according to a former KGB archivist.”

“Since the Cold War, Russian intelligence efforts related to US elections have primarily focused on foreign intelligence collection. For decades, Russian and Soviet intelligence services have sought to collect insider information from US political parties that could help Russian leaders understand a new US administration’s plans and priorities.”

“In the 1970s, the KGB recruited a Democratic Party activist who reported information about then-presidential hopeful Jimmy Carter’s campaign and foreign policy plans, according to a former KGB archivist.”
2. Russia was the source of information for WikiLeaks:
“We assess with high confidence that Russian military intelligence (General Staff Main Intelligence Directorate or GRU) used the Guccifer 2.0 persona and DCLeaks.com to release US victim data obtained in cyber operations publicly and in exclusives to media outlets and relayed material to WikiLeaks.”
3. […]

Oscars: Third Lowest Rating Since 1974

By |February 27th, 2017|Entertainment, FakeNews, XPC|Comments Off on Oscars: Third Lowest Rating Since 1974

How many people normally watch the Oscars? I could have sworn I saw somewhere that 100 million people would be watching the Oscars.  No mention of that number today, so I did a little digging. First, I Googled “100 million will watch Oscars” and immediately got a return with a New York Times article which was published before the airing of the Oscars. Just one problem; when I clicked on the article to read it, there was no mention of the “100 million” in the article anywhere.

The actual number of viewer was approximately 34 million. No doubt, this was fake news designed to make people want to watch it; like hyping up the Super Bowl. The way Google works and re-spiders websites, this search probably won’t continue to produce this same result for long, but if you know how, you can pull up a cached version of websites so you can still see them prior to the change, which is what we did for this New York Times article and here is the paragraph that was removed after the Oscars tanked:

They were not only pumping up a fake number, they were promoting almost WWF-style on the coming clash between President Donald Trump and Hollywood.

I didn’t watch the Hollywood love-fest and honestly don’t know anyone who did, but here’s a great clip making the rounds online today where these liberal idiots completely screwed up in giving out their biggest award of the evening; giving Best Picture to La La Land when it was really supposed to go to Moonlight.

Sure, there was plenty of Trump-bashing that the MSM is gleefully replaying today… because they have to… because no one watched it the first time.

Here’s the fake news we’d […]
