Senate Passes Resolution to Stop GHS

By |May 12th, 2017|Health, South Carolina, State|0 Comments

Resolution to Stop GHS Passes Senate with Unanimous Consent
Entire Senate body is in agreement that Greenville Hospital System has violated Act 432 and should cease its activities until the lawsuit against GHS is settled.
Greenville, SC – State Senator Tom Corbin introduced the resolution on Thursday, May 11, which reads as follows:

S.726 – A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION: TO OPPOSE THE RECENT ACTIONS OF THE GREENVILLE HOSPITAL SYSTEM.

Whereas, the Greenville Hospital System has recently engaged in an effort to restructure; and

Whereas, this was done in secret behind closed doors without notice or notification; and

Whereas, neither the citizens of Greenville County nor the Greenville County Legislative Delegation were informed of the closed door meeting; and

Whereas, the Greenville Hospital System is attempting to transform from a public not-for-profit organization into a private organization; and

Whereas, the members of the Greenville Legislative Delegation feel that this is in direct violation of Act 432 of 1947, which created the Greenville Hospital System; and

Whereas, if this goes through, the newly created Greenville Hospital System private boards, which will control the hospital system, will have absolutely no oversight by the people of Greenville County from which it was created; and

Whereas, members of the Greenville County Legislative Delegation, as well as some members of the public, have filed suit to stay this action; and

Whereas, this resolution would cause the Greenville Hospital System to cease its action until the lawsuit is settled. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:  That the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, oppose the recent actions of the Greenville Hospital System.

The Gas Fee (Tax) Debt Bomb

By |May 11th, 2017|Politics, South Carolina, State|0 Comments

Why swapping one three-letter word for another is a BIG deal.
I can’t recall ever seeing such a groundswell of opposition to anything greater than this new 12 cent gas tax being shoved down our throats in Columbia.  By now, many know that the new tax will fund college tuition and many things other than the roads we’ve so desperately wanted to be repaired, but what about them changing this from a tax to a fee?
WARNING: Continuing to read will likely cause a serious increase in blood pressure.
If it had remained a gas “tax” then those in Columbia would be prohibited from using an incoming tax as leverage for more money, but if it is a “fee” then they are allowed to leverage into more money. In other words; they are already planning to use the billions more they are taking from us to BORROW money and put the people in debt billions on top of those billions!

Governor Henry McMaster was obviously complacent in all this or he would have held his vote for the five days and used his bully pulpit to back down a couple more senators. Instead, he quickly vetoed and returned knowing they barely had the two-thirds majority in the senate to override him.

The Mullikin Bunch

By |March 26th, 2017|Politics, South Carolina, State|1 Comment

A look at political donations by
Congressional Candidate Thomas Mullikin.
WHO: Thomas Mullikin (Lawyer)
WHAT: Congressional Race
WHEN: Ongoing
WHERE: SC District 5

Always follow the money; people tend to spend the money they earn on what’s most important to them. In the case of Thomas Mullikin of Camden, he’s not unlike many politically-minded attornies as he donates to politicians regardless of party affiliation.

Going from left to right, top to bottom; an examination of the political values financed by Thomas Mullikin.

Kay Hagan (Democrat) – former US Senator from North Carolina.
Thomas Mullikin donated on two separate occasions, totaling $1,262.00.

Hagan was a huge supporter of Obamacare. Even as late as the end of 2013 when 160,000 people had received cancellation notices of their insurance policies, Hagan still boasted on her website that if you “liked your plan, you could keep it.” It was her staunch support of Obamacare which led to the end of her political career.

Inez Tenenbaum (Democrat) – former SC Superintendent of Education
Thomas Mullikin donated on six separate occasions totaling $2,100.00when Tenenbaum ran for US Senate.

Tenenbaum was in her second term as State Superintendent of Education when she ran for US Senate. Under Tenenbaum, the SC Department of Education put the state of South Carolina in debt by $1.75 BILLION.

John Spratt (Democrat) – former SC Congressman for the 5th District
Thomas Mullikin donated on four separate occasions totaling $2,850.00. This donor relationship spanned 19 years (1989 to 2008) after Mullikin briefly worked for Spratt.

Spratt served as a Democrat Congressman for 28 years in the same district which Thomas Mullikin is now running for office. He was finally removed from office after supporting Obamacare, then losing his seat to Republican Mick Mulvaney.

Bennie Thompson (Democrat) – current MS Congressman for the 2nd District
Thomas Mullikin […]

Intelligence: Russian Interference with Elections

By |March 22nd, 2017|National, Politics|Comments Off on Intelligence: Russian Interference with Elections

The Top 7 Things You Should Know Regarding US Intelligence Findings
This has been largely ignored by the Main SCREAM Media, but the Director of National Intelligence release a report on January 6, 2017, regarding combined findings of FBI, CIA, and NSA, in regards to Russian interference in United States Elections. You can read the full report here, but here are the top 7 issues which should be reported upon with direct quotes from the report:

1. Russia meddling in our elections is nothing new. They have been doing it dating back to the U.S.S.R.
“Russia, like its Soviet predecessor, has a history of conducting covert influence campaigns focused on US presidential elections that have used intelligence officers and agents and press placements to disparage candidates perceived as hostile to the Kremlin.”

“During the Cold War, the Soviet Union used intelligence officers, influence agents, forgeries, and press placements to disparage candidates perceived as hostile to the Kremlin, according to a former KGB archivist.”

“Since the Cold War, Russian intelligence efforts related to US elections have primarily focused on foreign intelligence collection. For decades, Russian and Soviet intelligence services have sought to collect insider information from US political parties that could help Russian leaders understand a new US administration’s plans and priorities.”

“In the 1970s, the KGB recruited a Democratic Party activist who reported information about then-presidential hopeful Jimmy Carter’s campaign and foreign policy plans, according to a former KGB archivist.”
2. Russia was the source of information for WikiLeaks:
“We assess with high confidence that Russian military intelligence (General Staff Main Intelligence Directorate or GRU) used the Guccifer 2.0 persona and DCLeaks.com to release US victim data obtained in cyber operations publicly and in exclusives to media outlets and relayed material to WikiLeaks.”

Oscars: Third Lowest Rating Since 1974

By |February 27th, 2017|Entertainment, FakeNews, XPC|Comments Off on Oscars: Third Lowest Rating Since 1974

How many people normally watch the Oscars? I could have sworn I saw somewhere that 100 million people would be watching the Oscars.  No mention of that number today, so I did a little digging. First, I Googled “100 million will watch Oscars” and immediately got a return with a New York Times article which was published before the airing of the Oscars. Just one problem; when I clicked on the article to read it, there was no mention of the “100 million” in the article anywhere.

The actual number of viewer was approximately 34 million. No doubt, this was fake news designed to make people want to watch it; like hyping up the Super Bowl. The way Google works and re-spiders websites, this search probably won’t continue to produce this same result for long, but if you know how, you can pull up a cached version of websites so you can still see them prior to the change, which is what we did for this New York Times article and here is the paragraph that was removed after the Oscars tanked:

They were not only pumping up a fake number, they were promoting almost WWF-style on the coming clash between President Donald Trump and Hollywood.

I didn’t watch the Hollywood love-fest and honestly don’t know anyone who did, but here’s a great clip making the rounds online today where these liberal idiots completely screwed up in giving out their biggest award of the evening; giving Best Picture to La La Land when it was really supposed to go to Moonlight.

Sure, there was plenty of Trump-bashing that the MSM is gleefully replaying today… because they have to… because no one watched it the first time.

Here’s the fake news we’d […]

Judicial Coup d’état by 9th Circuit

By |February 9th, 2017|Judicial, National|1 Comment

The rights of State Universities (to not be inconvenienced) outweighed the rights of US Citizens to be protected from terrorists.
The 9th Circuit Court usurps its Constitutional authority, effectively taking over national security in their ruling to uphold the lower court’s suspension of a travel ban from seven dangerous countries. The three-judge panel (Judges Richard R. Clifton, William Canby and Michelle T. Friedland ) has effectively given a green light for terrorists to pour across our borders. This court is playing with American lives and any blood that follows will be on their hands.

Not only has the 9th Circuit overridden the Executive Office, they have effectively overridden Congress as well. Congress adopted a provision in 1952 saying the President “may by proclamation and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens and any class of aliens as immigrants or non-immigrants” whenever he thinks it “would be detrimental to the interests of the United States.”

The courts are clearly out-of-control and we no longer have three equal branches of government with this being the latest of many out-of-bound decisions by the courts. Americans have truly become subjects of those who wear robes.

The seven nations identified in President Donald Trump’s travel ban were also “identified by the Obama administration as the seven most dangerous countries in the world in regard to harboring terrorists,”  as previously stated White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus.

The seven countries included in the Executive Order which implemented the temporary ban are:
Syria
Iraq
Iran
Sudan
Libya
Yemen
Somalia
Considering there are 50 Muslim countries in the world, the continuous claims of Main Stream Media (MSM) that this is a ban on Muslims, is blatantly dishonest (#FakeNews).

The full 9th Circuit Court brief can be read by clicking […]

Judicial Reform: Appearance of Impropriety

By |January 24th, 2017|South Carolina, State|Comments Off on Judicial Reform: Appearance of Impropriety

Judicial Reform: Appearance of Impropriety

Every year when the South Carolina Legislature goes back into session, there’s a number of things that always happen; the calls for Judicial Reform being among them. Each year, many activists as well as those who feel they’ve been screwed over by the judicial system begin screaming for reform only to be largely ignored.  Who can blame them for trying when no other state selects judges the way South Carolina does?

Legislators appoint judges, many of whom are attorneys, and then those attorneys continue to practice law bringing cases before the very judges they have employed. How can anyone going up against a lawyer/legislator possibly get a fair hearing? At the very least, it screams with the appearance of impropriety making it impossible to determine whether or not there was favoritism if you lose to such a system.

And, what about those seeking to become a judge, like Grace Knie of Campobello? Over the past few years, she and her husband (Patrick) have donated a lot of money to legislators and candidates to become legislators.  If we only focus on the donations which really matter, those to legislators who are currently serving and actually have a say (vote) on whether or not Knie becomes a judge, donations totaling $11,300 have been made to the following 19 legislators:

Senate
*Scott Talley (R) = $700
*Mike Gambrell (R) = $250
*Luke Rankin (R) = $500
*Gerald Malloy (D) = $500
Vincent Sheheen (D) = $1,000
*Katrina Shealy (R) = $250
Glenn Reese (D) = $1,000
John Courson (R) = $250

House
Derham Cole (R) = $750
Gilda Cobb-Hunter (D) = $1,100
*Gary Clary (R) = $2,000
Michael Anthony (D) = $250
Neal Collins (R) = $250
Justin Bamberg (D) = $250
Christopher Hart (D) = $100
*Eddie Tallon (R) = $400

Best Star Wars Movie Ever!

By |December 17th, 2016|Entertainment|Comments Off on Best Star Wars Movie Ever!

Rogue One is the first Star Wars movie truly worthy of all the hype.
I have zero doubt that there will be plenty of people who’ll disagree and would be willing to argue with me all day long.  Those same people will never be convinced otherwise. It won’t matter to them that I was one of the original fans, standing in line for 3 hours on a hot summer day (more than once) to see Episode IV (A New Hope) or that I’m certain I’ve watched it more than 100 times since.  In other words, I consider myself a real fan of the series. We loved that original movie, but why? It had great characters, cool character names, incredible sound effects, and music, it was really neat to watch such a futuristic movie about events that took place “

We loved that original movie, but why? It had great characters, cool character names, incredible sound effects, and music, it was really neat to watch such a futuristic movie about events that took place “a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…” but mostly, Lucas went somewhere no one had gone before (on that level) with the special effects.

If the original Star Wars had all the same characters, actors, story line, etc, but had been produced with Flash Gordon style special effects then we wouldn’t even be having such a discussion now.

SIDE NOTE: Ironically, George Lucas wanted the rights to Flash Gordon so he could remake, and it was because he couldn’t obtain the rights that he decided to create his own space opera (The Star Wars).
There have always been things which have bothered about the original movie.  There’s probably an answer for this, but in what […]

Hillary Clinton’s Illness: Alcoholism

By |September 1st, 2016|Politics, Presidential|1 Comment

A DC source has disclosed that presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s serious health issues stem from rampant alcoholism. This explanation sheds new light on the string of bizarre behaviors which Hillary Clinton has displayed over the course of her campaign. Many have speculated that these behaviors are due to some form of serious illness, and alcoholism could very well be considered such, but this situation is even worse:  it seems that Hillary is not only suffering from alcoholism but also alcohol withdrawal syndrome as she keeps trying to quit.

The symptoms that many have attributed to various hypothetical illnesses, such as her seizure-like head movements, her wild-eyed expressions, and her inability to stand or walk for extended periods of time without some form of support, can all easily be explained by severe alcoholism. But there are smaller, more subtle aspects of her condition that until now have just seemed like harmless quirks.

For months Mrs. Clinton could often be seen wearing sunglasses at a variety of public events, regardless of the weather. This is a classic way to lessen the sharp pain of a hangover by dulling the light coming into your eyes.

Then there are the aforementioned seizure-like head motions. While we cannot say for sure that these were seizures, it would make sense if they were, as alcohol withdrawal syndrome can cause sufferers to have mild seizures. What’s more concerning is that, according to the Epilepsy Foundation, prolonged alcohol abuse has been linked to the development of epilepsy in some people. If Clinton’s seizure-like behavior is indeed from epilepsy, that too would not be entirely surprising, as her erratic bursts tend to happen most often when she is surrounded by reporters or […]

Paving the Road to Hell… #NeverTrump

By |August 26th, 2016|National, Politics, Presidential|Comments Off on Paving the Road to Hell… #NeverTrump

“The road to Hell is paved with
good intentions.” ~Unknown
It has been more than 13 months (07/21/2015) since I wrote about the Donald Trump Phenomenon where I referred to Trump as the Republican Party’s Frankenstein. (Not likening Trump personally to Frankenstein – merely pointing out the success of his campaign was an abomination of Republican actions, or lack thereof.)

Just when all those wannabe candidates were just getting into the race to be the GOP’s nominee last summer, I laid out the case for Trump. But, was I actually a Trump supporter? Nope, I actually voted for Dr. Ben Carson.

Did I believe Carson was going to be the nominee? Nope, never actually thought he’d make it but he was my choice.  My analysis of Trump’s campaign was void of emotion, as it didn’t (and shouldn’t have) matter who I desired to win if I was to make an honest assessment. The Primary Election process was the window of opportunity for those on our side to disagree and get behind whoever they wanted for whatever reason.  That window is now closed and it would be just plain silly for me to be so angry/upset/etc that I couldn’t let go of a candidate that didn’t make it.

As we move toward the General Election in November, of the two choices: #NeverTrump or #NeverHillary – I just don’t understand how that can be a difficult decision. But, there are many who claim to be Republican or Conservative who have joined the left in the #NeverTrump mantra citing they cannot vote for Trump on “principle.” Seriously?

The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) has been so closely divided on many conservative (Christian) issues. We’ve lost some (gay marriage) while barely winning most […]
